WASHINGTON – The suspected terror plot case of Mohamed Mohamud in Oregon is underway with jury selection just finishing and opening statements expected to be scheduled soon.
Mohamud is accused of conspiring to ignite a bomb at Portland’s 2010 holiday tree-lighting ceremony but was found out by undercover FBI agents.
The defense has already suggested that they will argue that his arrest constituted entrapment.
For more on this, host Carmen Russell-Sluchansky spoke with Tung Yin, a law professor at Lewis and Clark University in Portland.
