WASHINGTON – The number of Americans under the poverty line has remained consistent over the past few years, according to a U.S. Census Bureau report, but the bad news is that the number is already record-setting.

Host Carmen Russell-Sluchansky touched on the issue of poverty in America with Marieka Klawitter, professor at University of Washington’s Evans School of Public Affairs, and Curtis Skinner, a labor economist at the National Center for Children in Poverty.
