WASHINGTON -- In the new book "Bomb: The Race to Build--and Steal--the World's Most Dangerous Weapon," author and historian Steve Sheinkin explores the scientific race to develop the a bomb and all the behind the scenes trickery to keep those secrets safe.

Host Rob Sachs talked with Sheinkin about the mixed emotions many of the Americans had about the success of the U.S. nuclear program and how a covert mission in Norway was instrumental in stopping the German bomb building effort.
