NEW YORK – A popular Italian daily newspaper recently listed American Cardinal Timothy Dolan as a potential frontrunner to replace outgoing Pope Benedict XVI, who will be resigning on Feb. 28 as leader of the Catholic Church.

But what is the likelihood of an American to become the next Pope? Voice of Russia New York correspondent Vasili Sushko explains.
