WASHINGTON – News has surfaced this week that President Barack Obama and NASA have held discussions to reignite missions to the Moon with the potential goal of developing a lunar base on the dark side of the Moon.

Host Andrew Hiller spoke with Dr. Roger Launius, a senior curator in the Division of Space History at the Smithsonian's National Air and Space Museum, to discuss the possible missions.
