WASHINGTON – Cyberbullying has become more pronounced as social media has become more and more embedded in our lives, but few understand the actual impact of the issue.
A new study at Dalhousie University evaluated cases of cyberbullying and suicide by searching for stories via Google and Factiva and examined the types of social media used in each case.
Host Andrew Hiller spoke with John Le Blanc, an associate professor of pediatrics, psychiatry and community health and epidemiology at Dalhousie University, to discuss the issue of cyberbullying.
